Why I started writing

After graduating from the London School of Economics with a BSc in Economics, I embarked on a year in China, to teach, learn and explore more about this unique country and its culture.

Returning just as the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, I realised just how little the average Brit knows about China other than what is presented in the news, which in my opinion fails to take into account the average Chinese perspective. The more I explored British takes on Asian affairs, the more I realised at present there is an unfortunate lack of cultural understanding despite our historical relationships with this area of the world.
